My personal ultralight bugout bag starts with a good durable backpack, and like my clothing choices, I prefer natural colors that blend well in a Woodland environment. I do not want a true camouflage pattern that is going to stick out in an urban environment. I also try to avoid clothing and equipment that has too much of a tactical look to it.
